Additional Information:
The National Rehabilitation Community school is a hospital school situated in Dun Laoghaire , Co Dublin on the campus of the National Rehabilitation Hospital. We are a Community Hospital school under the patronage of DDLETB .We cater for students from 4-18 who require a period of in-patient rehabilitation arising from Acquired Brain Injury ( ABI), Spinal cord injury and limb loss.
The post primary section of the school requires specialist teachers who will be recruited through the DDLETB, this is a Fixed term part time hourly class contact contract.
These hours arise from “cooperation" hours allocated to Special Schools to provide more specialist subjects in Special schools.
There is a strong focus on life skills, ICT skills and a return to the student’s base school post rehabilitation.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to work in Maths, English French and Biology to support our post primary children,
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working with adolescents with additional needs. Candidates must hold an up-to-date teaching council registration and apply by sending a CV to aoifemacgiollari@nrchs.ie
