Applications are invited for the position of Special Education Teacher/ Coordinator for the academic year 2025/26 in the Patrician High School.
The successful candidate will play a key role in embedding the special class into our school. The role of Support Education is central to our school ethos and our goal is to ensure all our students gain access to the wide and varied school curriculum we currently offer.

Applicants for this position require a Special Educational Needs qualifications and previous experience supporting students in SEN is desirable. Special Class teaching experience would also be beneficial. This position will involve work in our Special Class both as a teacher and as a coordinator.

Appointments are subject to resource hours allocations, sanction by the Department of Education and final ratification by the Board of Management of the Patrician High School.

Garda vetting, Child Safeguarding training with TUSLA and Registration with the Teaching Council are required.
