St Joseph’s Special School is seeking a Woodwork Teacher to work with our pupils aged 12–18, focusing on practical projects and handcraft skills. We are a special school catering to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and moderate General Learning Disabilities (GLD).
We are fortunate to have a well-equipped and beautifully maintained woodwork room, and we warmly invite anyone interested in the role to visit the school or view the space prior to applying.
We are looking for a teacher with a genuine interest in working with pupils with additional needs, ideally with experience in special education or a background working with young people with ASD and moderate GLD. You will be supported by a dedicated team of teachers and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs).
This is a part-time position: 10 hours per week
Flexible scheduling is possible in line with school needs
