The Lycée Edward Steichen, Clervaux, Luxembourg (LESC) is looking for a highly motivated and inspiring mathematics teacher to join our expanding maths department.
Requirements: A suitable candidate ...
… must be able to teach mathematics to secondary school students (11-18 years old)
… must have fully qualified teacher status from an EU member state or the UK
... must hold a master’s degree
… must have a minimum of 5 years’ full-time teaching experience
… must also be able to speak either German or French at B2 level
… should understand the challenges of teaching mixed-ability students in an international context
… should be willing to contribute to the overall development of the school
LESC is a publicly funded school located in the historical town of Clervaux, in the North of Luxembourg. École Internationale Edward Steichen, as a branch of LESC, is an accredited European School and follows the European Schools’ curriculum. We aim to educate our students for the challenges of the 21st century by developing our pupils, both academically and non-academically, into well-rounded critical thinkers and well-educated lifelong learners.

...Permanent post, subject to successfully completing one year as a CPD trainee in the Luxembourg school system
...Gross salary: 6,000-8,000 EUROS per month during the first year of employment (nb. this will increase significantly from the second year of employment)
...Free school place(s) for dependent children (subject to a place being available)
...Luxembourg social security coverage
